Will is the luckiest kid in Brooklyn, at least in my opinion, because of the size of his play space and the amount of toys that fill said space. Yes, it's a corner of our living room, and yes, he still shares his bedroom with our home office, but hey, it's valuable real estate. Don't make me price it out for you. Take a look at the corner of our house and please do come over and share a car, truck, train, musical instrument, or ball with him, won't you? After the jump you can see where some of this good stuff is from. The key is hand-me-downs, people!
The main components of the space are from Ikea, like the Expedit shelves, the table and chair, and the play mat. The big yellow tub is from Target. There's Howdy the Bouncy Cow (one of my faves) and a couple of Friends with You toys that were hand-me-downs from friends. There's a million trains and trucks from Melissa & Doug. We've got a tribute to Deuce in this All-Mighty Boston Terrier plush. And even this colorful number from Ikea. The ride-on train is Leap Frog from our neighbor, who coincidentally just left a bag full of Matchbox cars on our doorstep yesterday! Score!
