Scenes from a (cold) weekend.

Man! It was cold this weekend! I know we've been lucky that it's mid-January and just now getting cold, but yuck! When you have a kid and live in an apartment, you need outside time in a serious way and we were seriously lacking these past several days! It was horrible trying to give him a nap yesterday and putting him to bed last night because he was exhausted but hadn't really burned off all his little boy energy for the day, so he screamed and jumped and sang and stalled and stalled. Ack! We'll have to try something else for the rest of the winter - jumping classes, dance classes, swimming lessons, a membership to one of the children's museums... something must be done!

Anyway, we did get to see our friends for breakfast and Will and Ace got to hold hands and freeze to death at the playground for 15 minutes. We spent a lot of time getting cozy and watching Sesame Street too.
